After the release of two successful singles, British singer/songwriter and producer Cameron Hayes is back with the launch of her highly anticipated debut EP ‘Medicine’.
Featuring the two previous singles, ‘Drown’ and ‘Superego’, the EP is completed by a third powerful and emotive song, serving also as the title track of the release – ‘Medicine’.
“For me, this EP features my three favourite songs I’ve done so far, says Cameron, “each song was written at a different point in my life and it’s lovely to have and reflect on these all together.”
Another dark and brooding piece of music, ‘Medicine’ was written by Cameron and beloved collaborator Rob Macfarlane (Headie One, KSI, Plan B, Chase & Status). The track perfectly compliments the other singles from the EP, completing the package and giving fans an insight into who Cameron Hayes is as an artist.
“Medicine is about coping with the downfall of a relationship, when you harbour feelings of anger and resentment but also sadness as you don’t understand what went wrong, and you’re at the point where you need some form of ‘medicine’ to be able to cope.”
